When I last saw Brock Zeman and Blair Hogan they were playing at my cobblestone. None of us at the time could have imagined our next meeting would be in Amsterdam. Before leaving Wales I discovered that they were arriving in Amsterdam just a day before me. They began their European tour at the same time and place I was going to be there. So Blair picked me up at the airport. After picking up Brock we walked around Amsterdam some and made plans for the next day. I spent this morning in the hotel lobby waiting for my rock star friends to wake up. After much coffee and some sketches of folks eating breakfast I sent Blair a Shel Silverstein quote. “Its the early bird that gets the worm to put upon his plate. So if you are a bird get up early. But if you are a worm sleep in late.” Not that I’m calling anyone a worm.
